At the bargaining unit meeting held on November 6, 2013 at the Glenmore Inn, teachers of Local 38 voted 96.6% in favour of accepting the proposed new collective bargaining agreement. 442 ballots were cast: 426 in favour, 15 opposed, and 1 spoiled. The agreement now goes to the Board of Trustees for consideration. If approved by that group, the agreement will be signed shortly afterwards and come into force.
